They are propylene threads; the same material used
for suture, modified in relation to its texture, in a "fish bone"
Threads are placed under the skin and do not leave
any marks. Once placed they are "anchored" thanks to their spikes,
they are then stretched and "tensed" on the face tissue, neck or any
other area to be improved. This is how patients appearance is
rejuvenated, leaving surprising results.
Local anesthesia is always used, which is tolerated.
A thread vector plan is sketched (map) which is drawn in the area to
be improved, taking into account patient's preference and
Afterwards, threads are introduced and the tissue is
tightened. Once finished, tape is placed during 3 or 4 days so that
the tissue produces collagen around the thread.
Immediately afterwards, the patient is ready
to go back home.
An analgesic is recommended in order to combat
discomforts in the intervention and ice will be put for about 5 days
in order to minimize inflammation.-
Minor physical activities can be re-taken alter 24
hours of the intervention. Normal physical activity in approximately
5 to 7 days and the most energetic activities from 3 to 4 weeks.-
When do I see results?
Results are immediate
approximately 2 or 3 weeks definite results can be seen; which will
be improving as long as collagen production around threads is
